This traditional bowl (Chawan) is designed for whisking matcha. Each bowl is handmade in Hackney, East London, by ceramic artist Anna Starr at Turning Earth Studios. This Chawan has been wheel thrown, turned and altered using a white stoneware clay. They have been carefully designed for your drinking comfort, based on traditional Japanese Chawan, to feel balanced in the hand and hold the perfect amount of matcha love. Pebble is made using a monet blue glaze to give a matt, earthy surface.
